Namrata Vashishta, MD

After completing medical school in India, I spent 4 years in the United Kingdom initially as a pediatric trainee and subsequently as a Hospitalist in the NICU. Shortly after, life brought me to the United States where I completed my Pediatric residency and Fellowship in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine from the Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. I have been practicing as an attending neonatologist since 2014. Becoming a neonatologist reflects my deep passion for providing specialized care to the most vulnerable and precious patients: Newborns. I was drawn to this field by the incredible opportunity to make a profound difference during the earliest and most critical moments of life. This path has been both a privilege and a calling as it enables me to witness and contribute to the resilience and miracles of new beginnings everyday.
